COVD serves as the certifying body for Doctors in the Optometric specialty called Behavior/Developmental/Rehabilitative Optometry. Fellows are board certified specialists in vision development and vision therapy. The website features a lot of great information about vision problems and treatment options.

Developmental Delay Resources

DDR is a nonprofit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of those working with children who have developmental delays in sensory motor, language, social, visual and emotional areas. DDR provides a network for parents and professionals to support children with special needs.

Parents Active For Vision Education

PAVE is a national nonprofit resource and support organization whose mission is to raise public awareness of the crucial relationship between vision and achievement. The organization was founded by parents and teachers who have seen the benefits of vision therapy on a first hand basis. This is a great support group and network for parents.
